8-channel Prototype of a Micro-pneumatic Actuator of an EPjet printhead

The EPjet (TM)- Technology is the core technology developed by Epainters:

EPjet is a novel drop-on-demand printing technology, which was originally developed to print viscous paints and varnishes which contain pigments and fillers. Applications now are far beyond of this initial technical approach.

Working principle:

A micro-pneumatic control unit generates multiple pneumatic control signals by an internal fast-switching microvalve-array. The pneumatic signals are used to control fluid droplet ejection through drop-on-demand nozzles included in a fluidic unit.

Ebrush(TM)-Technology

The Ebrush technology concept integrates EPjet-printhead technology into manual paint application devices, which are operated like a paint roll.
